Day one
IFJU FINS / FORMULA US EASTERN CHAMPIONSHIP 2015 – kicked off day one in style with a perfect setup at SAILBOARDS MIAMI windsurfing school at Key Biscayne . After skippers meeting the wind started filling in, as it has done every day so far. We had a great starting boat sponsored by Kustom Kite and organization worked out perfect.
3 races was completed back to back in 15 knots and it was a simple up and down course with a gate on the middle to make it a little more exiting. Competition was good with Frenchmen Loic Leggalois, Ron Kern, Lodovic amoung others…However, I managed to win all 3 races and feel good on my new GA 12.5 it´s just a powerhouse.
Everyone was happy after racing and Race Organiser, Alex Morales – invited us to his new house and introduced us to his new restaurant in his backyard with some Awesome BBQ .
Today the wind looks like it should be the same and I am sure we will get some more racing happening soon this afternoon
