Maui was a great experience wind everyday hard condition just perfect for training. I was in Maui for almost about a month and I think I only had 3-4 days of no wind or light wind!
Or I was sailing on my small slalom gear : 6.4 evo7, 93L jp board and my 34 or 36 IFJU fins or I was sailing overpowered on my freestyle gear. The fins feel great good speed no spinouts I really feel comfortable on my equipment.
I also did some training with Amado Vrieswijk on the slalom gear early in the morning to train on the big gear this was hard to do because the wind would pick up fast everyday already in the morning.
Now I’m on my way to France for the IFCA European Championship slalom.
My gear is all set and I am ready!
France here I come!
